Q&A

Q & A

w/ Rasta Thomas

Q: Why did you name your company Bad Boys of Dance?

A: Because that’s what I was labeled and it stuck. Soo, when someone gives you lemons, make lemonade. It is now who we are and I can’t imagine it any other way.

Q: Describe the dancers of Bad Boys of Dance?

A: They are the dancers of tomorrow. “Hybrids” that can do it all… from ballet to hip hop, it makes no difference. They’re hot, young and fresh to death. They have an unparalleled ability to morph from one style to another and are entertaining and exciting to watch.

Q: Why did you start Bad Boys of Dance?
A: To show the world what great dancing looks like and to make dancing fun, entertaining and accessible to a whole new generation.

Q: Were you scared in the beginning?

A: Very! But now that we have made it past the 5-year mark I can breathe.

Q: What is next for you and BBD?

A: We do about 250 shows a year rotating about 25-50 dancers a season depending on the schedule the producers give me. In addition to performances, all I can say about that is the best is yet to come.
